Collecting general information

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider. This is only information that does not allow conclusions about your person. This information is necessary to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the internet.

Registration on our website

In order to become part of One Day One Choir, we ask you to register and provide some personal/group information. This information includes your name or choir name, email address and geographical location. For an effective registration we need a valid e-mail address and in order to verify that an application is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the “double-opt-in” procedure. If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we offer only to registered users. We may retain your information after the duration of your ‘Sign up’ in order to communicate with you about One Day One Choir events and updates. Of course, we can also provide you with information about the personal data we hold about you at any time.

World Map of Choirs

As part of our growing global ‘choir for peace’ your group/choir name and general location is highlighted on our ‘World Map’ of singers – this is a Google map which will pinpoint the location you give us. At present we are not using Google Analytics but if we do, we will inform you with a privacy policy update.

When you sign up to receive One Day One Choir’s newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Again we need a valid e-mail address and in order to verify that an application is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the “double-opt-in” procedure.

The consent to the storage of your personal data and their use for the newsletter or mailing list can be revoked at any time by contacting us at mail@OneDayOneChoir.org

If you contact us by e-mail via our contact link, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure that it complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the Privacy Policy. When introducing new services, your new visit will be subject to the new privacy policy.
